Mrs. A Bareman

It is said that true genius makes itself evident in one who dedicates oneself to the pursuit of excellence. If this is true I am a bonafide simpleton as I have always preferred to dabble. I find my joie de vivre in tasting as many experiences, great and small, as God allows!
For fragments of the last five years I have enjoyed convincing CCS junior high students that sewing is a Godglorifying, survival skill worth working at. My mother, the internet and my own curiosity gave me the skills that have put me in front of a sewing class.
The journey began in Credo (BC) where I took all courses except sewing to "keep my options open". Next I spent four years at two universities exploring various fields such as philosophy and sciences, especially kinesiology. Midway to a degree in physiotherapy I changed direction again and moved to Alberta to become a farmers wife and mother. Alongside those jobs I was blessed to explore my interests in food, flowers and fabric. I have also become a mediocre violinist, an average trail runner and a good-enough sewing teacher.
I remain committed to under-commitment so as to room leave room for a plethora of pursuits. In them I eagerly endeavor to benefit my neighbor and ceaselessly give glory to God!
Ps. 36:7-9 "How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light."
