School Theme 2023/2024: "Shine as Lights in the World" - Philippians 2:14-16

In the upcoming school year, our guiding theme is inspired by the words of Philippians 2:14-16,

Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain”.

At CCS, we embrace this theme as a call to action and a reminder of our mission. We aim to shine as lights in the world, not only through academic excellence but also through our character, kindness, and dedication to making a positive impact on our community and beyond. This year, we will focus on cultivating a spirit of unity, gratitude, and selflessness, fostering an environment where each student and staff member can radiate their unique light and collectively, through the working of the Holy Spirit, illuminate the path towards a brighter future in a world which is increasingly shrouded in the darkness of sin.

Together, as a school family, we will strive to be beacons of positivity, understanding, and hope, guided by the light of knowledge, compassion, and faith, instilled in us by God. As we embark on this academic journey, let us remember the words of Phillipians 2:14-16, and let our actions and choices reflect the brilliant light that God has placed within each of us.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
