Mrs. D Van Dellen

Hello!
This will be my third year teaching at CCS. While I appreciate the summer break, I eagerly look forward to reconnecting with our students.
I hail from Ripon, California, and graduated from Dordt University with a degree in teaching. I am also fortunate to be married to Ed. Together, we have eight adult children spread across North America, living in three different time zones. Although we are approaching the empty nest phase, two of our sons with disabilities continue to reside with us. Prior to joining CCS, I served as a Learning Commons Facilitator at Nicholas Sheran Community School for four years. Before that, my family operated a bakery. I have a passion for cooking and baking for gatherings, as well as reading, traveling, cycling, and engaging in various water sports.
One of my favorite passages is Psalm 121, which has been a continual source of comfort and peace in my life:
"I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth."
