Mrs. R Vanden Heuvel

I am excited to have this opportunity to once again teach in a Kindergarten classroom!  Most recently, I have taught grade two for the last ten years at ICES and prior to that taught Kindergarten for twenty years at various schools: ICES, Montessori, Taber Christian, Lacombe Christian and Sully Christian in Iowa, and began my first two years at Rocky Christian teaching grade one.
I enjoy being near mountains, walking, biking and spending time with my husband and grand kids. 
One of my favorite verses is from Proverbs 3:5, 6:  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.   In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." I also love Matthew 5:16: " Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven", which will be my theme verse in Kindergarten.
