Mrs. D Van den Akker

I have been an Educational Assistant since 2020. This has been an on-and-off career for me as my family has expanded to 2 girls and a rainbow baby on the way.

I have a passion for organizing and artistic-related tasks and have also built a business in custom cake decorating which has moved to more of a hobby business.

My passions in school are Math/Physics, sports of all sorts, and coaching volleyball. This is my 4th year coaching volleyball (Grades 7/8, 8/9, 9/10, and now 10-12). I also coached volleyball at PICS in 2020 and basketball in 2019/2020.

At home, I enjoy reading fiction/fantasy books, playing piano and board games, cooking/baking, and watching shows while folding the laundry. I also love to read to my girls and watch them learn.
